As reader Alexander of Santa Monica, Calif., noted, the Corriere della Serareported that the 500 was even more bespoke than the photo would suggest. According to the report, the 500 was fitted with a 34 kW electric motor sourced from Ansaldo Energia of Genoa. The E.V., based on the European-specification 500 Cabrio, reportedly can be driven 260 kilometers, or 161 miles, on a single charge.
