The Fiat 500 Abarth packs a surprisingly huge punch in such a small package. It’s seriously a mean little bugger. But some people have a limitless craving for power, performance, and physical beauty. Many automotive groups have decided to take things to the next level by upgrading the already formidable compact coupe, and SR Auto Group’s Project Scorpione is one of the front runners.

Project Scorpione – Mission to Become the Best

SR Auto Group took on the challenge of transforming the Fiat 500 Abarth into a whole new beast. Using premium parts from premier manufacturers, including Germany’s Novitec and Italy’s own Magneti Marelli, a stock Abarth received a major overhaul in several main areas.

Exterior Modifications

Before even delving into the enhancements that really make a difference in performance, it’s immediately apparent that SR Auto Group’s Abarth looks a bit different. Well, that’s because it’s wearing a Leios Matte Black body wrap for a seriously stealthy appearance. The car’s also got side mirrors wrapped in Blacks carbon fiber frames to match.

Through all of that smoke, the shimmering 17″ Novitec N10 wheels really make a bold statement. The black and brushed silver Euro-style racing wheels create a gorgeous contrast with the rest of the exterior. Last but not least, a custom Xenon HID headlight system by Alumina gives the car an intimidating glow in the night. But the alluring visuals don’t stop there.

Interior Modifications

Inside, the Abarth gets a number of aesthetic upgrades including Recaro Sportster CS bucket seats, a Magneti Marelli carbon fiber shift knob and e-brake handle, Blacks leather headrest covers, and a Blacks speedometer cover that includes auxiliary gauge pods. Every detail was added to take the sportiness of the car over the top–and they do so impeccably.

Performance Modifications

Looks mean nothing without something under the hood or elsewhere to back it up. The Project Scorpione Abarth is equipped with a stiffer Novitec Challenge Corse suspension system with coilovers to eliminate as much body roll as possible and enhance maneuverability and agility. A high-end
