Andy, your mom won’t let you get one anyway! The Essesse kit, in fact brings the HP to
160. The US is
essentially getting the essesse version out of the box for no extra money. There won’t be another version for the US (I suspect) unless sales shows that it’s a money-maker. Personally, I think they should have gone with the Mito tuning at 170, since all the engineering has already been done, but it may be that in this configuration they couldn’t meet US
‘s emission standards. I believe the Essesse wheels will be available at additional cost (optional 17 inch alloys). There are some tuner versions that make bigger HP than 170-180 but they are really big bucks.

If your going to compair, be fair. Since the Abarath is the high end perfomance model, compair it to MINI’s high performance model. The GP or the JCW. When you do that their is no comparioson, MINI wins hands down. It’s like compairing a Cheap economy car to a Luxery Sport Compact.

6 gears might be nice, but for the amount of HP isn’t absolutely needed. As for automatic, well I personally frown upon the idea, but I guess it would be in fiats best interest, just as long as the don’t replace the stick shift for one of those lame flappy paddle gear boxes.

Way too expensive for a Fiat, even at $22K. I would not pay more than $11K for a Fiat.
